SOLD! Antique Portable and Foldable Stereoscope Rotoscope Viewfinder Stereoviewer RARE
Antique Portable and Foldable Stereoscope Rotoscope Viewfinder Stereoviewer RARE
and 7 Stereoscope Cards
Late Victorian / Edwardian
The stereoscope is handmade and made out of wood, and folds into a box
The glass is slightly damaged/chipped around the edges, ( inside ) but it could be the way it was cut to fit into the wood.
I wonder if originally had, or was meant to have some metal around the glass.
The latches of the box, are a bit damaged which prevents the box to close completely.
There are some white paint splatters on one side of the box.
The nails that hold the hinges are not in perfect position, which makes me wonder if the hinges were previously repaired
3 Stereoscope cards have some writing/scribbles
Please see photos for detailed condition report
The box when closed is 19 cm x 10 cm x 3.6 cm / 7.5" x 3.9" x 1.4"
